Roland Gardens

This colourful street of period houses, mostly converted to flats, is located in the Thurloe Estate and Smith’s Charity Conservation Area. Roland Gardens and adjacent mews were prepared for construction in 1870 on the site of the Eagle Lodge Estate and the surviving buildings have largely been very well maintained over the last 45 years. Principia manages numerous buildings on Roland Gardens all for resident management company clients who have simultaneous landlord and leaseholder roles to play. The buildings are all on a major works programme, are insured through insurance brokers taking advantage of terrific economies of scale, and one of the buildings has the convenience of a lift and communal boiler system for hot water and heating.
